This course is designed for Nebraska Methodist Health System Employees whose responsibilities may require them to participate in neonatal resuscitations. It teaches the knowledge and skills required for resuscitation. While this course does not guarantee proficiency during an actual resuscitation, it lays the foundation that enables participants to continue development of these skills.

NRP Book Access:
NRP books can be checked out through the Outreach Education Coordinator (Methodist Women's Hospital 4th floor). Please call (402) 815-4000 to arrange a book pickup. Books may be checked out for a maximum of 90 days.
Exam Access
The NRP class is offered to Methodist Health System Employees only. We recommend contacting NRP directly for locations that offer NRP to non-employees. Please click on the link to request an NRP exam. Exam requests are managed Monday-Friday 8am-3pm. Requests may take up to 2 business days to complete. All testing must be completed prior to signing up for an event. Access to Instructor Led Events closes 7 days prior to the event.

Instructor-led events at Women's are at 8 am or 10 am. This hands-on class is the NRP Advanced Class.Instructor-led Events at Jennie Edmundson are 8am-11am. This hands-on class is the NRP Advanced Class. NRP at Jennie Ed is only open to Jennie employees. Please reach out to Amber Williams for dates and availability.

Participant Cancellations
Should you need to cancel, you must do so at least seven calendar days prior to your scheduled course. No call, no show will be required to pay for a rescheduled course.
Licensure
If you are using this course toward your licensure, please keep course agenda/objectives and a copy of your card in your personal file. The college does not award continuing education units for AHA courses.
Health Issues
The manikins are latex and could cause an allergic reaction. Please inform the instructor if accommodations need to be made.
