CPR/BLS Courses

The Family and Friends CPR Courses are designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. Family and Friends CPR Courses offer no completion card.

Do you want a more in-depth class to learn CPR and AED use? Take a Heartsaver CPR and AED class.

Need a completion card for your job and you are not a healthcare provider? Take a HeartSaver CPR, AED, First Aid class. This is a skills check. Participants are required to purchase the online AHA Total Heartsaver course.  *Check your state's requirements prior to registering. 

Stop the Bleed class will show methods to manage bleeding in an emergent situation.

Family and Friends CPR (for adults, children, and infants)

This course is ideal for new families and caregivers and focuses on CPR, AED, and airway block for adults, children and infants

Heartsaver CPR AED

Heartsaver CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who desires to learn CPR and how to use an AED

Heartsaver Skills Check Off

This course is for those individuals who have completed the American Heart Association Heartsaver® Total - Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online e-Learning course (Part 1) and require skills practice and testing for certification (Part 2).
Bleeding control course designed for anyone. Learn how to apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and use a tourniquet properly.

Course Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel class due to insufficient registrations. If you have questions regarding class cancellations due to weather, please check the email you registered with for class for updates.

Participant Cancellations

If you need to reschedule or cancel your class, please do so at least five days prior to the class. This will allow other students the opportunity to attend the class. Please note: any cancellation made within 24 hours or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. No call, no show will be required to pay for a rescheduled course.

Health Problems

If you experience any of the following, please call (402) 354-7100 to make arrangements:
• Dermatologic lesions on hands or in oral circumoral spaces
• Hepatitis B Surface antigen seropositive
• Positive state of Human Immunodeficiency Virus- AIDS
• Upper respiratory infection
• Any active state of infection

*The manikins are latex and could cause an allergic reaction. Please inform the instructor if accommodations need to be made.
