New Students

Congratulations on becoming a member of the Nebraska Methodist College family! This page will help new students get acclimated to campus life before classes begin.

There are a few things to keep in mind before your first day of classes: All students will have the opportunity to register for their courses and attend new student orientation. To be in compliance with our governing boards, all students are required to maintain complete and current health records and have a pre-entrance examination which can be done in the NMC Campus Health Center. We look forward to meeting you!

New Student Registration — CARE Days

This just got real: It's time to gear up for officially becoming a registered student (class schedule and all). Join us for one of our CARE Days — a time to Connect, Ask, Register and Explore.

Not only will you leave CARE Days having dotted all your I’s and crossed all your T’s, but you'll have an opportunity to connect with others who are starting their healthcare career journey.

Connect

Get acquainted with fellow students, student ambassadors and the faculty and staff who are here to help you make the most of your college experience and healthcare career.

Ask

You have questions. We have info sessions and Q&A time. Learn about campus life, classes, community involvement, expectations, financial aid next steps, our student support system and more.

Register

Your future begins here, with a one-on-one with your adviser and registration for the classes you need to succeed. Already registered? Come for the rest of the CARE Days fun!

Explore

Tour the area and see all that NMC has to offer including our bookstore, campus health center, classrooms and labs, coffee shop, library, lounges, Josie's Village student housing and more.

ALEKS Math Placement

We recognize some students might have completed college-level math courses years ago, some relatively recently, and others not at all. Because math skills are important in the education and practice of several healthcare professions, we want to confirm your current math skills using ALEKS PPL.
