New Students

Congratulations on becoming a member of the Nebraska Methodist College family! This page will help new students get acclimated to campus life before classes begin.

There are a few things to keep in mind before your first day of classes: All students will have the opportunity to register for their courses and attend new student orientation. To be in compliance with our governing boards, all students are required to maintain complete and current health records and have a pre-entrance examination which can be done in the NMC Campus Health Center. We look forward to meeting you!

CARE Days are for accepted and deposited undergraduate on campus students.

CARE Days is an important onboarding event for new students. Admitted students will finalize their class schedule, hear from student services, complete required health and compliance requirements, meet with financial aid, and learn how to access email and important student accounts.

Space is limited for each date; be sure to reserve your seat today by filling out the online form below.

Click on the links below to reserve your seat. We ask that you only register for one date. You will be contacted by your academic advisor for a 1:1 virtual advising session prior to your CARE Day date. These individualized advising sessions will take place via phone or video conference.

Please direct any questions regarding CARE Days to Sarah Murphy at (402) 354-7528 or sarah.murphy@methodistcollege.edu.

*CARE Days are for admitted incoming on-campus students only. Incoming online students do not attend. Students who have not yet been admitted are encouraged to contact admissions for more information admissions@methodistcollege.edu.

ALEKS Math Placement

We recognize some students might have completed college-level math courses years ago, some relatively recently, and others not at all. Because math skills are important in the education and practice of several healthcare professions, we want to confirm your current math skills using ALEKS PPL.
