Program Admission Criteria
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 to be considered for admission. Applicants are evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:
- High school record
- ACT composite 20 or above or SAT 950 critical reading and mathematics scores (if within 2 years of high school graduation)
- College record
- Math and science courses (Recommended courses Algebra, Biology, Chemisty, Anatomy & Physiology and Physics)
- Fulfillment of program technical standards
- Shadowing experience recommended and documentation may be submitted with application
Progam Application Process and Deadlines
To be considered for admission the following itmes must be submitted to the Admissions Office:
- NMC Online Application
- $25 non-refundable application fee
- Written personal statement
- Official high school transcript
- If appropriate, official GED test scores
- ACT or SAT official scores (if applicable)
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended
Financing Your Education
The cost of the program is very competitive compared to other programs in this area. The Financial Aid Office staff is dedicated to helping students realize their educational dreams. We can help students clarify the application process and determine award eligibility. We also help students understand what financial resources they have as well as determine the amount they will be responsible for paying each semester. Throughout this process we locate additional funds when needed and assess special situations.
Program Accreditation
The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes the College's accreditation through The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the respective national registry examinations.
