Just as the name implies, the accelerated nursing degree program allows students to complete their bachelor’s degree in nursing in as little as 15 months. Coursework provides the knowledge you need and the clinical training allows you to put what you learn into practice right away. Because many of our students use the accelerated program to advance in existing careers, we make the schedule flexible – even offering some classes online. At Nebraska Methodist College, you’ll also find that our learning environment is supportive, with plenty of one-on-one time with instructors and an emphasis on your immediate and long-term success.

Program Admission Criteria
- Eligible applicants must have an Associate or Bachelor degree with a GPA of 2.75 or above from a regionally accredited institution.
- Meet program technical standards.
- Completion of all general education pre-requisite courses listed below prior to January enrollment in the program. Applicants may be reviewed for admission with one or two pre-requisite courses to be completed during the fall semester prior to January enrollment.

Program Application Process and Deadlines
To be considered for admission the following items must be submitted to the Admissions Office. Students are encouraged to start the application process at anytime.
- NMC Undergraduate Application with $25 application fee.
- Written Personal Statement
- Official high school transcript
- If appropriate, official GED test scores
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended
- Personal Interview with admissions
The ACE program begins in January. We are currently accepting applications for Spring 2011 - January. The deadlines for application are May 3, 2010 and August 2, 2010. All application materials must be postmarked by the deadlines. Application deadlines may be extended at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
Cost of Attendance
The cost of the program is very reasonable compared to other accelerated BSN programs in this area. The ACE program offers a package price for tuition and fees. Students are encouraged to explore financial aid and scholarship opportunities. The Kathyrn Montgomery ACE Scholarship is a dedicated scholarship for students entering the ACE Program.
Advancement Options
NMC offers an online Master of Science in Nursing to prepare for a role as a Nurse Educator or Nurse Executive.
