You're driven to protect and serve. We're driven to help you succeed.
As a Military Friendly® school, NMC creates sustainable and meaningful benefit for those who serve, serve alongside or served: active duty, guard, reserve, military spouses and veterans.
As of 2020, we are a Veteran and Active Duty Supportive postsecondary institution.
Ssgt Cody Wyatt, Senior Nursing NMC Student, answered his country's call to action by deploying to Houston with the Nebraska Air National Guard to render medical care to hurricane victims. NMC had his back while he was away, keeping his place in the nursing program and customizing catch-up opportunities when he returned. You're driven to protect and serve. We're driven to help you succeed.
In recognition of exceptional support to our service members, NMC received the Above and Beyond Award at the Nebraska Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) annual awards ceremony.
Along with our military staff, faculty and students, we were proud to host Major General Michael D. Navrkal, Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Commander United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) for our Veterans Day celebration.
We appreciate and celebrate our service members, including SFC Mark Araujo, associate director of Financial Aid, shown here at his retirement from the National Guard with presentation of the Meritorious Service Medal.
The Student Veterans of America Chapter of Nebraska Methodist College believes in the promotion of personal development and intellectual growth and follows the mission and goals of the College while serving those who have served in the US military or those who are interested in the US military.
