December 2024: Southern France

Dates: Dec. 27 2024 to Jan. 5 2025

The 10-day academic travel includes:

Round-trip land and air transportation
Three- and four-star, double-occupancy hotel accommodations
Exclusive deluxe motor coach, faculty liaisons, tour director and local guides
Full breakfast daily and French specialty meals
Admission to all activities on the itinerary

Itinerary highlights:

Guided tour of Lyon, including a visit to the ornate Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourvière
Regional wine-tasting in Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Avignon, France
Discover the highlights of Marseille, France’s second largest city
Glimpse into how medicine was practiced in ancient times as well as in France today
Learn about French culture, taste the local food and wine, and marvel at the country’s art and architecture
