General Background
Mike Bojanski has served as adjunct faculty in the HPM program since 2010. His passion for wellness started in the 1990s when he had his biggest health/wellness accomplishment. He converted a former company smoking lounge into an onsite exercise facility. Since then he has implemented exercise and health facilities in several other companies. Mike is currently Vice President of Human Resources at Finley Engineering in Omaha, NE. and is the Dean of Finley Academy, the company’s corporate university. He started his human resources career in 1982 with Richman Gordman Stores. In his 30+ year career he has had the opportunity to work with privately held and fortune 500 companies including First Data Resources, Cox Communications, Physicians Mutual Insurance Company and Huntel Systems.

Mike graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1977 with a BSBA in Marketing and Human Resources and received his Masters in Human Relations from The University of Oklahoma in 2002. Mike also enjoys his adjunct faculty role at Creighton University in Omaha, NE where he facilitates a traditional classroom course in Human Resources Management. Mike also serves on the board of directors for the Human Resources Association and Partnerships in Ageing. He and his wife Cindy enjoy gardening and spending time outdoors with their three grandchildren.
