Lindsay Snipes

General Background
Lindsay Snipes joined Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) in July 2014 as Education Compliance Director and was appointed Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness in August 2020. She currently serves as Executive Vice President. In this role, Lindsay provides executive leadership for institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, campus services, and student success services, with a focus on creating an integrated, student‑centered campus experience.

Lindsay is a visionary higher education leader with expertise in institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, campus facilities design and utilization, education compliance, and student success initiatives. She is highly accomplished in data analysis, program evaluation, and accreditation processes and serves as NMC’s Higher Learning Commission (HLC) Accreditation Liaison. Her leadership emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, data‑informed decision‑making, and continuous improvement in support of student persistence, completion, and overall wellbeing.

Lindsay is recognized as an effective communicator and collaborative leader with strong organizational skills and a deep commitment to student success at Nebraska Methodist College.

Prior to joining NMC, Lindsay was admitted to the Nebraska Courts and the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska, in 2011. During her senior year of law school, she worked as a legal intern with Methodist Health System, focusing on health care compliance. Following law school, Lindsay practiced as a litigation attorney at an Omaha law firm, where her work included aviation law, commercial litigation, employment and labor law, and regulatory compliance. In private practice, she developed extensive experience interpreting and analyzing administrative, regulatory, and contractual matters.


Lindsay grew up on a ranch near Niobrara, Nebraska. She and her wife, Karen, are proud mothers to their daughter, Lauren, age 10. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys cooking, shooting hoops, golfing, and vacationing at the beach.

Notable Publications/Presentations 

Lindsay regularly presents to the NMC campus community, Board of Directors, Methodist Hospital Foundation and Methodist Health System on topics related to education, compliance, institutional effectiveness, accreditation, and student success. She has also presented at the HLC’s Annual Conference, Persistence and Completion Academy, and Strategy Forum, with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making, assessment, and strategies to support student success.
