    General Background
    After graduation, Sarah immediately began working at the Nebraska Medical Center as a registered nurse on a Solid Organ Transplant Unit.  She discovered that she enjoyed acute care nursing,  particularly the patient teaching and mentoring new nurses.  This led Sarah to pursue graduate studies in nursing education. She began working at Nebraska Methodist College in the fall of 2002 and now coordinates and teaches Normal and Abnormal Health Assessment of the adult and older adult client.
