Education
Rebecca Baumeister received her BSN at Nebraska Methodist College in December 1994. She returned to Nebraska Methodist College and received her MSN in May 2014. She completed her PhD at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Professional Background
Rebecca served as Assistant Director of the School of Nursing at Midland University from 2015-2018. Clinically, Rebecca has variety of experiences as a staff and charge nurse in many areas, taught child and multiple birth education classes. Rebecca also utilized her talents as an Administrative Coordinator in the Methodist Health System.
Rebecca’s teaching experience include clinical in several courses throughout the BSN curriculum, Course Coordination and didactic teaching in Community Health/Population Focused Care, CNA, Seminar/Practicum, Public Health, and Population Health/Med-Surg. Online teaching experiences include BSN courses including Professional Concepts, Multicultural Nursing, and Spiritual Nursing Care. Rebecca also is co-coordinator of the curriculum team.

Rebecca’s professional organization involvement has included membership in Nebraska Association of Nursing Deans and Directors, National League for Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, American Holistic Nurses Association, and recent invitations to UNVL Sigma Theta Tau Chapter, and Phi Sigma Phi Honor Society. Rebecca was presented with a Positive Image of Nursing Award in 2016.
