Natalie Mandolfo

General Background

Natalie is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN)TM. Natalie has over two decades of nurse practitioner experience working in community oncology settings and palliative care. Natalie also served as a former executive director for the Nebraska Oncology Society where she managed state society activities and advocated for cancer health policy at the local and national level.

Natalie’s passion for oncology and research led her to pursue a PhD in Nursing and complete a dissertation study that investigated glycemic variability in patients with stage II-III colon cancer. She continues to pursue opportunities to advance science and improve outcomes for patients with cancer and comorbid diabetes. In addition to teaching, she works full time as a medical science liaison supporting oncology research and US Medical Affairs initiatives for a biotech company.
