General Background
Lisa Fuchs received her doctorate degree in Education and Leadership from Nebraska Methodist College. She holds a certification as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist from Mayo Clinic, as well as a certification as a Wellness Coach from Wellesley College. She is the program Director for the Respiratory Therapy program at Nebraska Methodist College. Dr. Fuchs recently designed the new BSRT program.
Dr. Fuchs specializes in tobacco treatment education and respiratory wellness. She is a well-known speaker and spoke in London, England on Tobacco Cessation and Emotional Intelligence. Lisa is active on the Political Advocacy team and travels to Washington, D.C to support telemedicine, serves on the House of Delegates for the Nebraska State Respiratory Board, and on the ALA local Leadership Board. She was active in the ALA Asthma camp with her students. In Dr. Fuchs spare time, she likes to garden, hike, read and spend time with her littles, which includes her new doodle, Harrison.

Professional Service/Recognition/Charitable Boards
Lisa Fuchs is a member and serves as Chairperson for the Health Promotion committee at the American Lung Association and has held positions at MOTAC. She is member of AARC and NSRC which are national and state chapters for the Respiratory Care profession. Lisa is passionate about tobacco cessation and is involved with global as well as national organizations.
