General Background
Kiley began her nursing career as a RN at Children's Emergency/Trauma Department. She spent 6 years in this department where she also served as a lead preceptor and developed leadership skills as a charge nurse. In 2015, she transitioned to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as the Clinical Resource Nurse Educator. Kiley served as adjust at Nebraska Methodist College teaching Health Assessment Across the Lifespan before taking an assistant professor position teaching NRS450 Critical Care nursing. Kiley enjoys teaching adult and pediatric emergency, trauma, and critical care nursing. She also serves as a Pediatric Advanced Life Support instructor for Nebraska Methodist College.

Kiley has received certifications in both pediatric emergency nursing (CPEN) and pediatric nursing (CPN) through PNCB. Kiley is also a member of the Emergency Nurses Association.
