John Winenger is a 30 yr. MBA, Fellow credentialed ACHE healthcare executive that has been active in the hospital operations and medical group management field most of his career. Since 2008, he has been involved in performance improvement where he assists organizations to assess their operations and helps teams of caregivers to find sustainable healthcare delivery solutions. This could be hospitals that are missing financial targets, working with physician groups and medical staff on change management issues, and mentoring teams of caregivers. He works with medical staff and governing boards to assess situations, gathering data and helping with analytics, and works with leadership to brainstorm solutions with urgency.
John founded his own management company entitled Interim Executive Solutions in 2014; Over his diverse career, he has over ten (10) interim CEO level engagements. He completed his Green Belt certification with Purdue University School of Engineering in 2019. John has led kaizen projects over his career and has been executive sponsor in countless others to date. His use of lean tools in healthcare provides a refreshing way to solve problems across diverse and complicated organizations. His metrics are solid and proven within the business, and his operational scorecards, team-driven dashboards, and pillar style management approach generates results in most any setting.
John also teaches part-time at Indiana Wesleyan University where he serves as Adjunct Professor in their Healthcare Administration program. He has been to wife Lois for 33 yrs. and has two children.
