Jodi Jenson-Bassett is an assistant professor in the Department of Nursing at Nebraska Methodist College where she has taught since May 1998. Previously she worked as a staff nurse and Clinical nurse coordinator from 1990-1998 at Children's Hospital in Omaha Nebraska. She received her BSN and MSN from Nebraska Methodist College in 1990 and 2004, respectively.

Team teaching responsibility for nine semester hour course taught three times per year to junior level students, both didactic and clinical. Teaching responsibility for a two semester hour course taught two times a year to sophomore level students, in lab. Responsibilities consist of teaching nursing courses, academic advisement, participating in committees and contributing to the NLN, CCNE and State Board accreditation processServed on Development, Honors, and Scholarship committee 1998-2002/Chairperson 2001-2002. Served on Emotional Intelligence facet of HDC. Team leader for the Nebraska Methodist Health System Foundation's 2000 Caring Campaign. Served on Testing and Measurement Committee/Co-Chair 2003. Served on Curriculum Team until Fall 2010. Currently serve on Assessment Team and Faculty Senate.
