Employed at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, NE. Inpatient occupational therapist primarily on the spinal cord injury team, but also get the opportunity to work with patients of all ages with a variety of diagnoses. Previously worked as a teaching assistant for Creighton University's Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Program.
Completed presentations at Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association (NOTA) Conference and was recently accepted for a presentation at the upcoming American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Conference next year. Publication "Promoting Inclusion for Children With Disabilities and Their Families" in OT Practice in March 2016.
Professional Service/Recognition/Charitable Boards
Serves as the co-chair for the Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association Policy and Advocacy Committee (NOTAPAC), working to advocate for the profession and promote relevant healthcare legislation. Currently working to develop a State Hill Day for occupational therapy students and practitioners to get involved with advocacy in Nebraska.
