General Background
I am a respiratory therapy educator. I have been a health professional for 40 years, with experience as a respiratory therapist in critical care and home care. I have served as a faculty member at the College of St. Mary (Omaha), Metro Community College (Omaha), Tennessee State University (Nashville) and Nebraska Methodist College. I have served as Department Chair, Director of Clinical Education, and now Program Director at NMC.

Professional Service/Recognition/Charitable Boards
I have served on the Local Leadership Board in Nashville, TN for the American Lung Association; and I have served in the past for the Tennessee and the Nebraska Society for Respiratory Care (affiliates of the American Association for Respiratory Care) - I was elected to the House of Delegates for the AARC representing Nebraska. In addition, I received the honor of Therapist of the Year from the NSRC in 2006.
I am currently serving as a site visitor and commissioner on the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
