General Background
Mr. Pohl joined Omaha Public Power District in 2005, working on process improvement projects at a variety of OPPD's facilities, including generation stations , transmission/distribution facilities and the corporate headquarters. As a senior process engineer, he had responsibility for integrating lean continuous improvement tools into the culture of the company, along with planning and implementing process improvement projects focused on reducing cost, increasing reliability and improving safety. In 2012, he joined the Customer Sales & Service group, where he has responsibility for a team of Electrical Service Designers who serve as the primary customer interface for commercial and residential line extensions.

Mr. Pohl is on the board of the Institute of Industrial Engineers local chapter and a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Nebraska. He is actively involved in the Greater Omaha Chamber's Young Professionals organization, as well as a volunteer for St. Robert Bellarmine parish and the Omaha Community Playhouse.
