All Nebraska Methodist College students taking 3 or more credit hours are required to purchase the Student Assurance insurance plan, unless proof of comparable coverage is provided. (This excludes online, nursing assistant, medication aide, and phlebotomy students.)
Plan Information
The College has chosen an insurance carrier that we feel best serves the needs of our students at a very competitive cost. In partnering with Student Assurance Services, we are pleased to announce an insurance plan available to all Nebraska Methodist College students and their dependents. Policy information can be found at http://www.sas-mn.com/studentslookup1.php. To ensure that every student has adequate coverage, all registered students carrying 3 or more credit hours (not including online courses) will be automatically enrolled in the Nebraska Methodist College Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan upon matriculation and at the beginning of each academic year. The premium is added to the student's account.

Waiver Information (For students who have SAS coverage and students matriculating Spring 2013)
If a student has other insurance coverage, they must waive the NMC plan by completing the online waiver form prior to February 1, 2013. If the waiver is submitted prior to the deadline, the student's account will be reimbursed. The waiver link can be found at http://www.sas-mn.com/studentslookup1.php.
Please note that NO exceptions will be made to the waiver deadline.
