Manage your health and safety requirements online


To make completing and updating your health and safety requirements as simple as possible, the College has partnered with CastleBranch, Inc.

An email will be sent to you with a package code and instructions about how to set up your myCB account. (Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers are recommended. The system does not work with Internet Explorer.) To place an order, select the appropriate program package.

myCB Student Tutorial


Only your NMC e-mail will be used when placing your order to ensure communication for alerts and messages.  Your e-mail will become your username for myCB.

The costs for the background check and compliance tracker are automatically added to your NMC student account.Once your myCB account is created and opened, your appropriate To-Do list will be visible. Student To-Do lists include the following (may vary according to program):

Background Check

Personal information requested: full name, date of birth, social security number, current address, phone number, and NMC e-mail.

DHHS (NE Dept of Health & Human Services) Child and/or Adult Abuse & Neglect Central Registry Check If you did not complete this on campus at Registration Day:

  • Download, print and complete the DHHS form.  Form must be complete - if not applicable, please put N/A in the box.
  • Form must be signed by student (and parent if under 19) and notarized.  Notaries on campus are Crystal Lush (501 Center) and Mike Evert (Clark Center).

Compliance Tracker


Check out the required immunizations for students.

Physical Examination

Required for all undergraduate students (excluding online-only programs).  Download, print and complete the examination form.  The form must be signed by a health care provider.

BLS/CPR Certification

Must be the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Providers course.  You can take the course free of charge through NMC's Professional Development department ( 

Health Insurance

Submit a copy of your current health insurance card or proof of coverage.  If your name is not listed on the card (parent/spouse insurance, etc.), obtain a letter of coverage from the insurance company.

Drug Screen

Drug screens for all local students will be done at the Campus Health Center.  Students who are out-of-town or out-of-state will receive directions to complete their drug screen elsewhere.

Licensure/Certification for RN (for online nursing programs)

Submit documentation of your current licensure or verification of your licensure from your state's website.
