We are required by clinical and fieldwork sites with which we are affiliated to make sure that our students have clean backgrounds in the interest of patient safety. Therefore, all students involved in clinical or fieldwork experiences are required to submit to a background check before being allowed to participate in any clinical or fieldwork experiences.
You will receive instructions on completing your background check via your NMC e-mail. The background check must be completed within the first 4 weeks of classes.
