Student Organizations

Student Ambassaders

Research indicates that student involvement increases student satisfaction with the college experience, increases G.P.A., enhances time management skills and decreases a student's likelihood of dropping out of college.

NMC has a variety of recognized student organizations. These organizations are an excellent way to learn about current issues in your profession and the community, meet new people, improve your personal and professional skills, network with local and national professionals and develop leadership skills.

Outreach to the community promotes life long learning and reflects the College's Core Values of caring, excellence, holism, learning and respect. Information regarding one time volunteer opportunities, ongoing service, and service immersion trips can be found on the Community Service page.

Ambassadors

The Ambassadors participate in the recruitment of students and promotion of Nebraska Methodist College while providing opportunities for students to develop leadership and communication skills. We strive to promote a positive image of the NMC mission, vision, and core values while serving the community.

Ignite

Ignite is an interdenominational organization on college campuses throughout the world. The mission of Ignite is to turn lost students into Christ-Centered laborers. Christ-centered means allowing God to shape our lives around His eternal purpose. We believe that a relationship with God through Jesus Christ provides the hope and purpose in life that people are seeking. In the Bible, Jesus says, "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly." (John 10:10)
