Advanced Cardiac Life Support Initial

The purpose of this course is to educate health care personnel working with adults on the risks, strategies and skills necessary to handle cardiopulmonary emergencies. The ACLS Provider Course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest.

CNA/MA Recertification

This offering is open to nursing assistants and/or medication aides whose Nebraska Certification, over a two or more year period of time, has lapsed and requires recertification. Those who test must have been previously placed on the State of Nebraska Registry.

CPR/Basic Life Support Initial

The BLS Health Care Provider Course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed health care professionals.
