The purpose of this program is to provide participants knowledge on the leading causes of pregnancy related mortality and review strategies to decrease the pregnancy related mortality rate.
Participants will be able to:
- Review the data collection process used to report pregnancy related mortality
- Identify the seven leading causes of pregnancy related mortality
- Institute clinical changes to decrease the pregnancy related mortality rate
- Discuss pregnancy related mortality cases and near misses
