Purpose Statement: The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills to enable participants to respond to escalating behaviors in the workplace.
Participants will be able to:
- Describe the general goals and activities of licensed child placing agencies.
- Review Nebraska laws regarding adoption.
- Examine the hospital experience for those considering an adoption plan.
- Recognize appropriate adoption language.
- Discuss how to provide support to those considering an adoption plan.
