This course is designed for clinical instructors in the following health care disciplines: Medical Assistant, Radiologic Technologist, Respiratory Care Practitioner, Sonographer, Surgical Technologist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Nursing, as well as other health care providers and college instructors.

Purpose Statement: The purpose of this program is to provide education to support the role of the clinical instructor, including knowledge to enhance the clinical experience for both instructors and students.
Participants will be able to:
- Examine strategies to improve communication between clinical instructors and students.
- State 4 key elements of offering effective feedback
- Explore an overview of the evolving regulatory and ethical obligations under FERPA, Title IX and Social Media in clinical education.
- Explore strategies for managing student-clinical instructor communication in the clinical environment.
