Course Description

Purpose Statement: To improve the safety of health care providers and patients by providing updates on current street drugs (Meth, Crack, Marijuana, Synthetic Marijuana, Bath Salts and PCP) and their signs/symptoms as well as weapons that could be encountered in health care settings.

Participants will be able to:

  • Recognize current street drugs and common effects of their use.
  • Identify weapons that could pose a threat to others.
