Course Description

Purpose Statement: The purpose of this program is to improve patient care and outcomes across the continuum of emergency care.

Participant will be able to:

  • Identify domestic violence within pregnancy patients in the emergency department setting.
  • Discover labor and delivery care in the emergency department.
  • Gain tools and understanding for working with sex trafficking patients in the emergency department setting. 

In order to receive continuing education credit for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements: 

  • Attendance at entire activity
  • Completion/submission of evaluation form
