Purpose Statement: The purpose of this program is to provide knowledge on advanced concepts related to NICU patients.
Participants will be able to:
- Discuss best practices related to nutrition in the care of NICU patients.
- Examine the use of respiratory equipment in the NICU patient.
- Review sleep as it relates to the preterm infant.
- Identify sepsis as it relates to the NICU patient.
- Identify the fluid, electrolyte, and nutritional needs of NICU patients.
- Examine CNS disorders in NICU patients.
