Purpose Statement: This program is designed to provide an interprofessional forum for staff to engage in learning and implementing best practices in geropalliative care; to improve patient outcomes through sustaining and spreading AgeWISE principles; and to provide ongoing support to AgeWISE RNs and AgeWISE sustainability.

 

Participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the role of the church in health as well as discuss a faith-based nursing program and its impact in congregations and the community.
  • Explore the impact of taking care of ourselves.
  • Examine ways to provide cultural and linguistic appropriate care.
