The purpose of this program is to provide an educational series focusing on interprofessional collaboration in advancing evidence-based practice at the bedside.
Participants will be able to:
- Understand the evolution of the interprofessional approach as it relates to perinatal loss.
- Discuss the evidence behind interprofessional teams through examination of a hospital-based council and related policies.
- Explore the concept of Comfort Care and the impact of the interprofessional approach through discussions of a family's journey.
- Discuss case studies regarding interprofessional teamwork to improve patient and family care.
- Discuss the importance of debriefing as it relates to the functioning of the interprofessional team.
