Purpose Statement: This program will provide information about adoption history, adoption laws, and adoption language in the 21st century.  

Objectives:

  • Identify Nebraska law regarding adoption. 
  • Demonstrate use of proper adoption language.
  • Differentiate between the types of adoption.
  • Recognize Silverstein and Roszia's 7 Core Issues of Adoption when caring for biological and adoptive parents.
