A program only from the Nursing Academy at Nebraska Methodist College. For many RNs, greater career opportunities go hand-in-hand with higher education. This specially designed program allows you to work while earning your nursing Bachelor's Degree online in two phases. Our instructors care, they have a thorough knowledge of nursing, and they provide an environment that is constantly supportive. Admissions

Prospective students may apply anytime and are accepted from deadlines throughout the year. Applications will be reviewed upon receipt and students will be notified of their admission by letter or phone.
** Special Note** Due to the high interest in the Nursing Academy funding is currently on hold. Students may start the application process and explore the Tuition Assistance Program, Employee Development Grant and Financial Aid.
Program Admissions Criteria
Applicants are evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:
- Proof of unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse, NMC Admissions will assist in securing Nebraska licensures
- Graduation from a state approved diploma or Associate degree program.
- College cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above earned at regionally accredited institution, courses considered for transfer must be completed with a C- grade or above
- Fulfillment of program technical standards
- General Education courses listed in Phase I of the Program Curriculum, must be completed prior to enrollment in Phase II: Nursing Curriculum
- Official high school transcripts
Program Application Process
To be considered for admission the following items must be submitted to the Admissions Office:
- NMC online application
- $25 application fee (pay here)
- Official college transcripts from all schools attended

Tuition & Fees
MHS Nurses selected to participate will receive sponsorship for 27 credit hours of general education courses and 33 credit hours of nursing courses. Selection forms providing eligibility and sponsorship by affiliate is available on the internal portal ERNIE.
