Joslin Celebrates 10 Years as Nebraska Methodist College President and CEO

Dennis Joslin, Ph.D., celebrates ten years as President and CEO of Nebraska Methodist College.
(OMAHA) -- The Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) community celebrated President and CEO Dennis Joslin's ten years as the college's leader. The event included comments and stories by faculty, staff, Methodist Hospital administration and a touching tribute by Joslin's wife, Susan Joslin, Ph.D.
From 1976 through the present, Joslin has been an instrumental force in forming one of the most recognized accredited healthcare colleges in the region. He served in several capacities within the College, from instructor to Vice President of Academic Affairs, before being inaugurated as NMC's president on June 24, 2002. Dr. Joslin is the second president since 1985 when the school was officially authorized as a degree granting college.
Under Joslin's executive stewardship, the College has experienced substantial transformation which includes: establishing the first capital campaign for the College with 100% of goal attained prior to completion of a new school campus, presiding over the construction and opening of a state-of-the-art healthcare college campus, realizing double digit growth in enrollments since 2003, and launching a 'virtual campus' offering certificate and graduate degrees online for healthcare professionals throughout North America.
Dr. Joslin is known for his visionary leadership, academic contributions and his community service. In addition to his presidential oversight of NMC, Dr. Joslin serves on several regional and national healthcare, wellness and educational boards.
Dr. Joslin, a registered nurse, earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa and his master's degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He earned his doctorate in educational administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1991.
Joslin and his wife have three adult children and four grandchildren.
