]]>Wed, 21 Dec 2011<![CDATA[2011 Christmas Coffee & Connections]]>http://methodistcollege.edu:8080/aboutthecollege/news/news_detail.asp?NewsID=464The weather was cooperative for the Pumpkin Patch event in the fall, but Mother Nature was not so kind this winter for the annual Christmas Coffee & Connections brunch on the morning of Saturday, December 3rd.  Snow was predicted to begin at noon, but was coming down heavily by 9:00 a.m. preventing many alums from attending. However, those that braved the lovely Nebraska weather enjoyed the complimentary brunch, entertainment by the Central High School Singers, and reconnecting with friends.  As part of our tradition, the Angel Tree was included in the festivities and through the generosity of alums, all donations will go to the Student Crisis Fund.  What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!
