4/9/2012All alums are welcome at meetings and events. Get involved in your Alumni Association! Interested in what you missed at the last meeting? Read the minutes. Keep up-to-date on information by attending the next meeting in person. Alumni Association meetings are held 12 noon - 2:00 pm at the Jean Schmidt Beyer Alumni Center located across the street from the NMC - Josie Harper Campus. Class of '87 - It's our 25th Reunion!
3/16/2012Can you believe that this year is our 25-year Reunion?! We hope to see you all at the Reunion Dinner on Friday, June 1st - don't forget to register!
Then on Saturday from Noon – 4:00 we will hold our own Class of ’87 picnic at Cottonwood Park, 728 South 154th St. (154th and Pacific). Families are welcome. Everyone bring your own grilling items and a side dish. Call Denise Carlson at (402) 354- 7256 or (800) 793-3964 with questions.
Now, we need your help! We are creating a booklet just for our class. We need: 1)current photos of you and your family; 2) a short bio of what you’ve been doing since graduation. Please e-mail these by May 1st to Denise Carlson at Denise.Carlson@methodistcollege.edu (preferred) or mail to her at Nebraska Methodist College -The Josie Harper Campus, 720 North 87th Street, Omaha, NE 68114.
The 8th Annual Silent Auction will be open in the afternoon and prior to the dinner for shopping! We are assembling a Class of ’87 basket. If you wish to contribute, please send $10 or whatever amount you wish, to Denise Carlson at the address above. We need the donation by May 1st. Denise Carlson, Director of Alumni Relations, will send you a letter for tax purposes as your gift is tax deductible. All proceeds from the Silent Auction benefit the Alumni Spirit of Caring Scholarships for current Methodist students – so it is a great cause!
Attention Class of 1962 - It's our 50-Year Reunion!
3/16/2012Please plan to attend the 50-Year Breakfast and the Reunion Dinner on Friday, June 1st. Don't forget to register!
Then our own Saturday activities will begin with a Brunch/Lunch together starting at 11 a.m. The afternoon will be spent visiting together or exploring the Old Market area.
