2/4/2010NMC Grad First in Nebraska to Be Designated Fellow
Joan Olson, BS, RDCS, RVT, a 2003 and 2006 graduate of Nebraska Methodist College – The Josie Harper Campus, is the first person in Nebraska to be designated a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE).
For sonographer members of the ASE, the Fellow designation recognizes extraordinary commitment to the field of echocardiography and achievement of credentials that demonstrate fulfillment of training and performance requirements in cardiac sonography.
The American Society of Echocardiography is a professional organization of physicians, cardiac sonographers, nurses and scientists involved in echocardiography. The organization was founded in 1975 and is the largest international organization for cardiac imaging.
In addition to being a graduate of NMC, Olson served as cardiovascular clinical coordinator for NMC's cardiovascular sonography program for four years, as well as an adjunct instructor.

4/30/2009As a Methodist alum, each calendar year, you are entitled to a $75 credit toward one seminar offered by the NMC Professional Development Department. Some exclusions may apply. Call Denise Carlson at (402) 354-7256, (800) 793-3964 to register for a program using your CE Dollars credit.
