Alumni Recognition
The Nebraska Methodist College Alumni Association recognizes a graduating student at each graduation ceremony. The student receives a monetary award to assist with furthering his or her education.
Application for criteria should include the following:
- Completed application form.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA confirmed by signature of Program Coordinator or an attached cumulative transcript from the registrar.
- Obtain two letters of reference, personal or professional, addressed to the Honors Committee. (At least one reference must be from a NMC instructor.)
- Write an essay, typed and double-spaced, that addresses the following questions:
- How has your NMC experience nurtured and nourished your personal and professional development?
- How will you incorporate NMC’s Core Values of Caring, Excellence, Holism, Learning, and Respect as you practice your profession?
- Attach your current resume. (Include commitment to NMC, leadership, volunteerism, community activities)
