Federal Work Study

Students with financial need may qualify to work under this program. Students generally work 10-15 hours per week and are paid every two weeks.

A student's financial need is based on the FAFSA. In addition, the student must complete the Methodist Health System job application process. Federal Work Study (FWS) students are considered employees of the Methodist Health System but are not eligible for benefits.

Most FWS positions are on campus; however positions are also available within the community to support family literacy programs. Positions have been approved in the following departments.

  • Student Engagement
  • Plus we have agreements with multiple off-campus agencies that serve the community
