Course Description
Purpose Statement: This program is intended to provide the learner with knowledge about changes in health care delivery and the nurses' role.
Participants will be able to:
- Discuss the role of nurses in population management.
- Examine new ways to demonstrate economic accountability of nursing care within health care reform policies.
- Describe health care perspectives that enhance the ability of nurses to be leaders of inter-professional care teams within new systems of health care delivery.
