Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and other health care professionals who are interested in neonatal resuscitation classes and responsible for the resuscitation of the newly born in the delivery room or nursery.

Course Description

Purpose Statement: To educate health care personnel working with the newly born on the risks, strategies and skills necessary to handle cardiopulmonary emergencies and arrest.

Participants will be able to:

• Perform basic resuscitation skills for newly born infants as related to their scope of practice.

Upon completion of the classroom portion of the neonatal resuscitation program, participants will complete an online exam.
