General Background
Steve Riedl is a seasoned IT professional with over 15 years of IT Leadership Experience. A Kansas native, Riedl started his IT career at the University of Kansas (KU). While at KU, Riedl led many initiatives including the design of a secure wireless network, the development and implementation of a HIPAA secure services template, and was recognized as the leader of a star academic unit.

Nearly eight years later, Riedl and his family moved to Omaha in pursuit of a new position as the VP and CIO of BCDM Architects, an Omaha-based full-service design firm. At BCDM, Riedl led the implementation of the corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program, transitioned the firm from duration-based project planning, and developed systems specific to nation-wide operations through optimization of wide area networks and fully redundant information systems.

Following BCDM, Riedl entered back into the education sector as the Associate Director for eLearning and Academic Technologies at Creighton University. Riedl was a recognized leader at Creighton and was recognized for several new and innovative technologies. Two of these technologies were recognized internationally through organizations such as Educause and AACE Global Time.

Currently, Riedl serves as the Director of Information Technology for WebEquity Solutions, a Software as a Service (SaaS) firm headquartered in Omaha.  His responsibilities include the overall leadership of Information Technology Infrastructure for a company providing on-demand services for a large segment of the financial industry.

Finally, Riedl has been an Adjunct Faculty member for Methodist College since 2008. He has worked in the Medical Group Administration (MGA) track and the Health Operations Management (HOM) track.
