General Background
Sarah has been at Nebraska Methodist College since 2005. Sarah worked at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN in the neurology/epilepsy unit before moving to Omaha, NE. Upon moving to Omaha, she worked on the orthopedic/neurology floor at Methodist Hospital as a staff nurse. She then took a position as a Work Comp Case Manager which allowed experience in managing work related injuries, coordinating medical care with patients and healthcare providers, developing a return to work program, and experience in the legal aspects of worker's compensation. After receiving her master's degree, Sarah began teaching at Nebraska Methodist College in the sophomore Medical Surgical Nursing Course. Sarah teaches online courses as well for the college.

Sarah is a member of the Iowa Nursing Association, NLN, and Sigma Theta Tau Tau Tau Chapter. She is also a volunteer at St. Albert School and New Visions homeless shelter.
