General Background
Lindsay Snipes joined Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) in July 2014 as Education Compliance Director and assumed her position of Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness in August 2020. Lindsay is visionary leader in higher education with skill in institutional effectiveness, campus facility design, management and usage, strategic planning and education compliance. She’s accomplished in data analysis, program evaluation, and accreditation processes and serves as NMC’s HLC Accreditation Liaison. Lindsay’s an effective communicator and collaborator, strong organizationally and is committed to the success of students she serves at Nebraska Methodist College.

Prior to joining NMC, Lindsay was admitted to the Nebraska courts and U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska in 2011. During Lindsay’s senior year in law school she worked as a legal intern with Methodist Health System with a focus on health care compliance. After graduating law school, Lindsay served as a litigation attorney in ab Omaha law firm where she practiced aviation law, commercial litigation, employment and labor law, and regulatory compliance. As a practicing attorney, Lindsay developed a wide range of experience where she focused on the interpretation and analysis of administrative, regulatory, and contractual issues. 

Lindsay grew up on a ranch near Niobrara, Nebraska, and she and her wife, Karen, are proud mothers to Lauren, 7. Outside of work, Lindsay loves to cook, shoot hoops, golf and vacation on a beach

Notable Publications/Presentations 

Lindsay presents regularly to the campus community on a variety of educational, compliance and accreditation topics. She has also presented at the Higher Learning Commission's Annual Conference, Persistence and Completion Academy and Strategy Form on data-driven decision making, assessment and student success topics
