General Background
Before coming to NMC in 2008, Lane taught at the University of New Mexico as an adjunct faculty member in the Physical Therapy Department. 
Lane has practiced as a PT for over 30 years. Her clinical practice has focused on the treatment of adults with neurologic disorders such as traumatic brain injury and stroke

Lane is a co-author of a text on cognitive rehabilitation therapy (CRT): Malia K, Law P, Sidebottom L, et al. Recommendations for Best Practice in Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy: Acquired Brain Injury. The Society for Cognitive Rehabilitation, 2004.

Professional Service/Recognition/Charitable Boards
Lane has served as an item writer for the National Physical Therapy Exam, and is currently serving as an article reviewer for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Stoke Specialty Interest Group.
