General Background
Julie currently manages federally-funded, investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical trials in hematology-oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Previously, she coordinated health education & biomedical research studies in diverse areas including: diabetes, weight loss, gait analysis, osteoporosis in breast cancer survivors, cardiology, perimenopause, and healthy aging. Teaching Critical Analysis of Research in the area of health promotion provides Julie the opportunity to inspire learners to incorporate evidence-based research in their profession.
