Julie's been a research coordinator for federally-funded, investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials. She is currently manager of clinical studies in oncology and hematology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Julie's diverse experience in health education & biomedical research includes: diabetes, weight loss, gait analysis, osteoporosis in breast cancer survivors, cardiology, perimenopause, and healthy aging. Teaching Critical Analysis of Research in the area of health promotion provides Julie the opportunity to inspire learners to incorporate evidence-based research in their profession. In 2010, Julie launched her business, Batch At A Time, which produces all-natural gourmet granola. It's a thriving small business that continues to grow in the marketplace.
