General Background
John has been with the respiratory program at NMC since July of 2001. The first ten years John was the Director of Clinical Education where he coordinated the various clinical rotations for the RT students. He has been the Program Director since September of 2011. On top of the over-all management of the program John also teaches the airway management, ventilator management, clinical discussion and neonatal/pediatrics courses.

John is active in respiratory care at the state and national level. He is currently a delegate for the State of Nebraska and represents the state at the national House of Delegates meetings each year. John also serves on the state Respiratory Care Board, which oversees licensing and disciplinary actions for the states licensed respiratory therapists. John is active with the youth group at his church as well as playing in the Praise team band. He also has served as board member for his neighborhood pool as well as helped out  with various coaching duties for his sons athletic teams.
