General Background
Deborah is a Gerontological Clinical Nurse Specialist at Nebraska Methodist Hospital and has a joint faculty appointment in the Department of Nursing at Nebraska Methodist College.  She serves on the curriculum team, provides faculty development and consultation in gerontological nursing and is coordinator of the AgeWISE Geropalliative Care Nurse Residency Program; a collaborative effort between the hospital and the college. She has been at Methodist since 2001.

Deborah is a member of the Nebraska Nursing Association/American Nurses Association, National Gerontological Nursing Association & Heartland Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International and Tua Tua Chapter and the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists.
