General Background
Carissa is the manager of the continuing education team at Nebraska Methodist College. She joined the team in 2020. Previously she worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Nursing for 12 years, where she taught courses in many courses, including pediatric nursing and domestic violence in both the accelerated and traditional programs.

Carissa serves on the Nebraska Methodist Hospital RISE Leadership Team, the Resilience Committee and is also a Peer Responder for RISE.
