Beth has had a passion for health promotion and disease prevention from an early age. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health from Truman State University and a Master's Degree in Community & Behavioral Public Health from the University of Iowa. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist.
Her professional background spans a variety of health promotion settings. She has experience in the area of worksite wellness, as a Wellness Program Coordinator, and has also gained community health promotion experience by working as a Program Director for a non-profit organization focused on the prevention and management of lung disease. Beth has assisted with the development of new employee wellness programs and community health education initiatives. In addition, she has provided individualized health education in the form of health and wellness coaching. Beth has also worked in the field of higher education by serving as the Program Development Officer/Operations Director for Allied Health online degrees at Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) from 2008-2011, and truly enjoys teaching in the Health Promotion Management graduate program at NMC.Beth is currently the Associate Director of the Wellness Council of the Midlands (WELCOM), where she enjoys furthering WELCOM's mission by assisting organizations across the state of Nebraska with their employee wellness efforts.
